What is RentFreely?

RentFreely is a house renting app for Uganda. Tenants search rooms, apartments, hostels, and houses on a map in Kampala and towns across the country.

Is the app free for tenants?

New tenants get a 2-day welcome trial with free unlocks. After that, you spend views to see landlord phone and WhatsApp, or buy views with MTN MoMo where payments are enabled.

How do I find a place?

See Find a place on the map — sign in, browse the map, save listings, then unlock the ones you like.

Landlords

How do I list my property?

1. Become a landlord
2. Pass the landlord check
3. Add a listing with photos and a map pin

Listings go live on the public map after verification.

Can someone else manage my listings?

Yes. Invite a property manager with scoped access (all properties, specific units, or one building). They accept the invite — there is no separate manager signup.

Can a property management company use RentFreely?

Yes. Choose Property management company during the landlord check and upload company registration. See Property management companies.

Payments

What are views?

Views let tenants unlock landlord contact details. See How views work and the welcome trial.

How does MTN MoMo work?
